I just bought a used Evinrude Scout trolling motor but I don't know what the #lb. thrust is. It's on a transom mount and has a foot control.
12/24v
Model#EBFX4A
Serial# H 2633810
Also, is there a way to wire it to have reverse also (a toggle switch or anything)? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Wanted to also ask if there is a #lb. thrust difference between 12 or 24 volt?

Re: What #lb. thrust is my Evinrude Scout trolling motor

Welcome to iboats LadyShar.

Your Scout is a 90' year. From the parts list it's probably a high thrust model in the high 40' to 50's thrust range. I'll check when I get back to the shop and give a definate on that. Don't give a lot in the parts breakdown.

You don't need a reverse....just spin the unit around till the prop faces forwards.

Thrust difference is generally speaking half.

I'll post ya' the particulars in a day or so unless one of the other guys can jump in here.

Thanks!!

Thanks for the quick reply. Any and all info would be appreciated. The more I know about it, the easier it would be to get parts or for repair on it. I do know that I'm going to need a prop and some kind of receptacle of some sorts (It has a male three prong plug on it). Thanks again.
