What product to use to keep the electrical components looking clean?

What should I use on my electrical components to keep the looking nice and clean. Armor All? I could swear that I heard that you where not to use this stuff on electrical parts but not sure.

I am currently scrubbing all my electrical components on my 1987 225hp Evinrude outboard rebuild and would like to coat them in something so that do not look so worn out. Plastic is a bit discoloured from age/heat after scrubbing all the caked on oil off them. Want to help the plastic stay in its best state and look as nice as everything else under the hood.

Any help would be appreciated.

Boeshield T-9 for me. Developed by Boeing Aircraft, works great in saltwater too. Leaves a sheen that lasts for months in the brutal conditions we have here.

If you don't have enough of the Boeshield to finish, Mother's makes a product called "Back to Black". I saw it for the first time today at the parts store. Made specifically to remove oxidation, chalkiness, etc. from black polymer parts.

I actually was using the Boeshield, but the coils turned yellowish again. So I took a stiff scrub brush to them again and that coating came right off. No need for the Beosheild. Just make sure they are clean in the frist place..... LOL

Hi Jeff. Was it the Boeshield or a dirty coil? Since i have been using Boeshield for years I am interested. I have refused to use anything else but I'm up for suggestions. I've used yorab's recommendation of Back to Black on a show car engine and she looked beautiful.
