I'm swapping a newer trim pump for my older one. I'm sure this has been done before. Anyone know the size of fitting/adapters I need?

Hose size and fittings didn't change. What you may have on the new pump is 'quick disconnects'.
You can either remove them and screw the old hoses directly in, or order a male and female QD and fit those to the old hoses and connect them to the new pump.

The brass fittings have screens and threads on the new pump. Are those quick disconnects?

You can add them to any pump. Really nice idea, bit $pendy, but in my opinion worth it.

Not even close to being same size as line. The white block is old pump.

Yeah, you're talking really old. Haven't seen a pump painted white in a long time.

You may be able to get adapters but they need to be flared fittings which are sae threads. Pipe thread fittings will not work

The brass fitting (that you removed) IS the adaptor... Put it back in and you should find it now fits.

It doesn't still to big. The boat is a 1980 Tahiti. I'm sure the way its set up isn't original. But the old pump is same part number as newer pump.

If you're reffering to the SAE J1171, that's not a part number.
It's an SAE standard for Marine electrics.

Ohhhh ok well that explains that. Lol so just to he sure I'm searching for correct fittings. The size of the line which is same size as the trim manifold is 3/8 24 inverted flare correct?
