That would be a manual start model.for 1982 and due to limited production may not be on the list for parts today.
Marketing and manufacturing 101-----Build a product the same and market it with different decals.-----Same thing goes for the 85 / 115 / 140 HP models.------All the same internal pieces with a few differences in " bolt on pieces" to get the different ratings.---Or bigger intake ports on the 140 block.------This may baffle you when you are working on your first motor I would say..
ya i knew it was rope start, but here is a thought that has been in my mind the past few days... all these motors see to be grouped in sizes, for example, 40/50/60 hp.... so what really changes here? carbs have got to be the only thing, i couldn't see a company changing up block, piston, and head sizes..... too much over head... but you could restrict one by size of carbs..... then furthermore the fly wheel he has for this also has teeth in it so i could see a starter bolting up to it without issue. and also seeing how everyone refers to bore of a cylinder for these motors and evinrude/johnson be the same for these years?
Lot of motors that Evinrude/ Johnson has done over the years were detuned or tuned up versions. Some use bigger carbs, intakes, and exhaust housing differences. Some ignition timing variations as well. Compare the IPL's and the where used aspects and you will find the parts you need to seek out. Sometimes they did increase displacement
