So the calandar just ends. No prophecies about how we will all meet our makers eh? There are the same people that used severed heads to play basketball with if i remember my 6'th grade history teacher correctly. Does sound like a good excuse for a sick day. LOL, I think it's funny. Look on the wall, does your calendar go past 1 year? O.K. some do but most don't. Why, because we are smart enough to figure out that we couldn't hang a calendar that big on the wall. The Mayan's figured out the same thing. The original Mayan calendar went to 4012 but it was too big to fit on the wall so they sent it back to the manufacturer and had them cut it back to 2012. FYI the Mayan Calendar could not account for things like Earth Quakes and rotational speed changes of the earth so it's not accurate and I think, if you re-did the math, the end already came and went.

i read that the north and south pole was reversing on dec 21 like it has done many times since the world was formed so im just going claim my gps got me lost on the way to work.

our plans are to leave early on the morning of Dec 22 and drive out of state to spend Christmas with family .... wonder if I should spend the money to buy new tires for the truck ...

The 21st is the Winter Solstice and the shortest day of the year. It's actually the very reason that Christmas is on the 25th. Seems the pagans were partying a little heavy so the church decided to hold services on the 25th just to get people to sober up. Maybe the guy that was making the calendar got drunk on the 21st and just said screw work and that was it.
