The boat is always covered except when it is in use or being prepped for use. It is covered and inside a steel building. This way, it will stay looking new for a long time.

My boat is under roof I do cover with cloth cover to keep clean but when using it 4-5 times a week I leave cover off. It is not the rain that hurts as bad as the sun even under a roof or carport. Mine is almost 10 and looks close to the same as when I bought it.

one trick for keeping moisture down when covered, especially for storage like over winter, is a cut-open bag of charcoal in there.

Mine is kept in an enclosed shed so I don't cover it in boating season. I do put a cover on after its winterized and put away till the next year. It stays significantly cleaner that way.

cover mine after use everytime with custom bow and cockpit cover. On particularily wet trips to the lake (kids will do this to a boat) I will leave uncovered over night and let it bake in the sun the next day to dry out. I also will open engine hatch to allow some of the heat/moisture to disapate inan effor to try and cut back on the corrosion a bit on the electrical connections.

After using, if the weather looks good, I will leave it uncovered for a day or so to allow it to dry out completely. When the boat has dried out, I will cover it with a bow & cockpit cover or a complete road cover.

well since I have only had it for a week I took the cover off to do a few things I wanted done before winter. However it sits in the garage! It stole my truck's spot. Since the wife has a VW bug that thing doesn't take much room.

By the way it is a 92 Wellcraft Excel 20sx ... Bow rider we took it out 3 times this week and it did well can't wait till next summer to really get a chance to play with it.

I just cover the console. My boat is made for the outdoors.

It is also left in the water, away from trees. I realize trees are the biggest enemy. One I keep on the trailer, I used to cover but the second cover (in 20 years) gave out and I gave up; the boat is old, and also all fiberglass. I keep a cover on the old boston whaler.

I sold one of the hotrods so now the Wellcraft stays indoors.

She barely fit. I had to raise my lift arms to get it in, the wheels of the trailer wouldn't fit between them. The garage is 30' deep, but a 21' on a trailer just has enough room.
