well geographically they say where I live is the northeast
but I'm south of the mason Dixon in a hick town that is basically an island, and about as southern attitude as you can get, we talk with a southern/old English accent, and many things we say mean the opposite of what it is, it's kinda hard to explain, but there's a good book published if you can find it called the eastern shore dictionary, I really didn't know we had our own language until I read that, we use words that no one else in the world uses or understands, I always wondered why when I was able to travel why my wife had to do the talking, because people couldn't understand what I was saying

I divide my time between Northwestern Virginia and the Northern Neck of Virginia. My boating is usually on the Rappahannock River, the tidal part off the Chesapeake Bay.

I am from Northeastern Kentucky, called Rush. Have access to Ohio River, Grayson Lake, Greenbo Lake, Yatesville Lake, Big Sandy River, and Little Sandy. Like them all, good fishing.

I'm from Zionsville,PA ( just south of Allentown / 45 miles north of Phila) and my wife and I do all our boating in Ontario Canada at Charleston Lake.

Here's where we stay on the southern end of the lake ( some pics in the link http://www.whisperingpinesontario.com/ ) Those familar with the lake, it's where the gas dock is at the southern end of the lake.

We just purchased another boat , a '24 Starcraft pontoon because our dog was "cramped" in the 18' celebrity open bow.

That northern pike weighed 8lbs 12 oz and was thrown back after the picture.

LOL back....that's because we can really BE Canuckleheads at times!
Had a bike that fit that description but I like it better in boats! I was just about born on one and was raised a Second mate's Son and a Bosun's Grandson in Holland.
My Grand daddy served as an interpreter for the Alabama C/G in Mobile AL. in '27.
Because of all of that salty blood (4 uncles were sailors, and 4 more owned Rhine barges,) I had the good fortune to see about a 3rd of this world by ship/barge before I was 16. And when I wanted to immigrate to the US in '68 to live where my Grand daddy lived, I got veto'd by Mother and I had to tag along to Canada.
