well geographically they say where I live is the northeast
but I'm south of the mason Dixon in a hick town that is basically an island, and about as southern attitude as you can get, we talk with a southern/old English accent, and many things we say mean the opposite of what it is, it's kinda hard to explain, but there's a good book published if you can find it called the eastern shore dictionary, I really didn't know we had our own language until I read that, we use words that no one else in the world uses or understands, I always wondered why when I was able to travel why my wife had to do the talking, because people couldn't understand what I was saying
