My buddies address used to be, 69 Head Road, Dildo. If you looked out his front window you were looking across the bay at Spread Eagle, and just over the hill from that is Come By Chance, lol.

Yes, you read that right as well, lol. He used to have a lot of trouble trying to order stuff over the phone when he would give them the shipping address, lol. I wonder why?

Cody WY, Wyoming is the least populated state in the US and Cody is not that big. Not surprising that I have not seen anyone else from Cody on here. Great fishing and all around good place for anything outdoors. If the worst thing you can say about the place you live is that it is really windy, that is a good thing. But man it is really windy here!:D

Ditto on the wind:(

Casper, Wyoming here. Lots of good water within 70 miles but the only drawback is the lack of a good shade tree for camping.

A wise man once said "in Wyoming there is a beautiful woman behind every tree, the trouble is there are no few trees"

Oh, and the state tree is a utility pole:D

Seriously, I love living in Wyoming...no state income tax, great hunting, great fishing, economy still in fair shape, did I mention "no state income tax"

Re: Where are all the iboaters from?

The middle of the Mojave desert (a boater's paradise?) we have a 30' sportfisher we use out of long beach. and 17' jet boat for the colorado river. One never knows which way the wind may blow here. so I also have gotten in to Hobbie cats. then the wife wanted a houseboat. so off to ebay and Texas to pick up the basket case 34' catamaran cruiser houseboat. Great yard art. so for a guy from Hesperia California (near Barstow) I am ready for the great quake that will leave me with beach front property!!

of course the definition of a boat will always be " A hole in the water, you pour money into." good day

Rotterdam

Rotterdam

Rotterdam - what used to be the world's biggest harbour (now overtaken by various far-east cities) - water enough here!

if we unplug that dike, my house has one story less  and I dont have to drag my boat to the water anymore :D

fast boating is restricted to many rules here - and not many places to go faster than 5 knots.

As my little boat makes about 27 knots and we wakeboard ever so seldom i'm happy to live next to a river where speed is unlimited. (hollandsche ijssel)

a common mistake is to call this whole country "holland" rather than "the royal kingdom of the netherlands" - wich also entails a few isles in the carebbean . "holland" is only the two western provinces of the mainland.

and oh - i do have clumbs (wooden shoes). really. (use them for gardening)

South Jersey - about 40 mins to the Jersey shore, and about 20 mins to the Delaware River near Philadelphia. Don't boat there - water looks a little thick.

bucks county pa.

c'mon chesabay...Once ya get past the water that can rot flesh on contact, dead bodies, collapsing nightclub piers, and constantly changing currents that can toss a small craft onto boulders the size of a small town, the river is great!

Originally from Lake Tahoe area of N.California, moved to Middle Ga.
4000 miles and 5000 foot of elevation difference, had to learn to fish all over again.
I guess anyplace with water enough to float a boat is a good place. :p

I almost put North America- Other. Here in California I sometimes feel I'm in another country, even another planet. But, its home.

I grew up in Central Texas but now live in the Indianapolis, IN area. Not too bad but what I call a pond, they call a lake...

The thriving metropolis of Iola, KS, population 6,700. We're about 80 miles south of Kansas City. We do most of our boating in Missouri though.
