Actually it's not so much about getting old. Kinda' funny - put me in an airplane and you can pretty much spin me all over the place: no problem. Put me on the water in rough weather and plunge me on the swells: no problem. Hook me up to repel off the side of the cliff and let me go: no problem. Put me on something that swings (big sweeps like that ride) back and forth, and back and forth, and back and forth, and back ... BAAARFFFFFFFF :facepalm:

Interesting our differences. I can get a little queezy with extended swells if I am below, but manageable. A swing like that would not make me sick, and it doesn't seem all that scary or age related. Other than the climb, it doesn't look physically demanding. Yes you've got to actually be willing to jump, and I understand that youth increases risk taking, but seems pretty dern safe to me. I think I'd jump at the chance . . . pah, duh, duh, chish

Wish I could. I learned a handful of years, or so, ago that I can't even ride the tilt-a-whirl anymore. Didn't get sick(came close), but my head didn't stop spinning for 2 hours.

Now adays, my idea of an extreme sport is walking upstairs to use the bathroom. LOL. When I was 18 or so I might have done that. What a difference 20 years makes.
