If it's going to be a contest, I think size of garage should be taken into consideration. Most of you guys seem to spread your mess out over a 2 stall garage. I have all my crap in one stall! This pic was taken afew weeks ago. There's 2 more bikes in there now. Plus bikes in the basement. I'd submit basement pics, but I'm too disgusted to even go down there at the moment.

ps I drive an F150 Supercrew Lariat longbed loaded out...only way to go! (unless you can afforda F250 super duty of course or a Roush supercharged, Turbo Diesel Harley edition etc etc....) Cool hang out area too, I like the bling LCD on the bench..and the RUST EZE sticker on the beer/frozen fish filet fridge! that RULES

as painful as it is to acknowledge that the garage is a mess... it is a REALLY good idea to take pictures of the "giant pile" once in while. I did that a couple years ago.... it came in handy when the garage was broken into a few months later and a bunch of stuff stolen. Ins. co. wanted me to demonstrate "proof of ownership" so I sent them 6 or 8 picts (of piles of clutter), with arrows pointing to the stuff that was taken. That was enough documentation for them... good b/c much was stuff I no longer had receipts for.

Or... if it ever burnt down, at least you could look at the pict's to start making an itemized list of what you lost. All those "little things" hand tools, garden tools etc etc. add up to real $$$ fast when you need to replace them.

BF you are absolutely right! while your at it burn a copy of those images to CD and give em to Mom or brother etc...if your house burns you're out all your images of proof !!

I flippin' cleaned up my garage last weekend. Dang it, dang it, dang it!!!!

Triump, you have a HUGE garage...SWEET...Rides! Kinda organized chaos! Maybye I should specified MESSY is better! It's no fun unless you get the occasional injury from tripping on all the GOOD STUFF lol

I'd post some of my one-car garage but I have only lived here for 1 year and haven't reached my zenith of aquired items yet. Will post in 6 months as I hope to fill it up with a bigger boat and a few more outboards that I clearly don't have room for

Nice garages fellas...I like the boat project/car project ones packed to the gills...so you guys ever have issues with which spark plugs or whatever else goes to what? I know I would.

Yeah I guess...thought that looked like a FORD but didnt want to make a poor uneducated comment .... ps The TAURUS don't count! (its really a Chevy brand imported through Cuba for FORD...) OUCH! hahahthis ought to toast a few Chevy people...

ps I had a 68 Pontiac Firebrid 400 convertible up until 2 months ago.CL sold it in 30 minutes! ....and I did have a 68 El Camino w/ a 350 back in the early 90s......

I know exactly how you feel...my son and I built our garage in a little over three months; working weekends only. We had the help of a neighbor who was in the business, his helper and a couple of young, strong backs we hired as day laborers!

Our projects have been anti-climatic since then....

Where are all of you guys tools? How do you do anything??? If you don't have to climb over stuff to get to stuff, you need more stuff! Pics are from standing in doorways, too much trouble to actually climb in there unless I need something real bad! It's about time for the annual clean-up and reorganization .....

Garage from the kitchen door - this is all my wife ever sees .....

Garage door looking to left - from left to right - sandblaster, milling machine, bandsaw, drill press, lathe, sandblast cabinet, TIG welder.

Garage door looking to right - from left to right - toolbox, partswasher, hydraulic press, air compressor. You can just see the top of the outdrive stand in front of the air compressor.

Garage was filled up a long time ago, so had to build a shed.

Looking left from shed door - from left to right - reloading table, TR6 body panels, engine hoist, radial arm saw, table saw.

Looking right from shed door - hmmm, no tools in this picture. have to do something about that .....

This is a GREAT thread!!! Some of you guys have garages bigger than my house.

When I moved in to my house I temporarily had all of you beat. We went from a house with a full garage, attic, and basement to a larger house with no attic and a finished basement. Everything was consolidated into the garage. To make things worse the previous owner left the garage half full of his old junk (short sale...long story). I really wish I had taken some pictures of what it looked like, it was unbelievable. It took 8 months to sort through it all. To this day I am afraid to show my face when the garbage men come. I'm POSITIVE I was the worst house on there rout every week for those 8 months.
