Re: Who's boating, what and where, this Memorial Day weekend??
me and the 'ol lady are gonna give it a go this weekend i guess.
she's got the weekend off, which is unusual. gonna have to take advantage of it.
i expect a cluster + heavy leo's. had us a couple of lit teenagers in a speedboat take out a 25' sailboat a few weekends ago at dusk. idiots.
were gonna do our old reg. routine with luck. go out mid afternoon and stay out till midnight round abouts. then go temp slip it for a nights sleep on board. the next morning we have breakfast on the ramp at the van. then off for a hopefully quite morning cruise. as soon as the people start arriving at the lake the next day, probalby around 1 pm. we'll split...
forecast is low 90's and breezy. gust's to 30mph, low 70's overnight and still breezy. next day 40% chance of storms in the day, 60% at night. hopefully i'll leave before the storms...
