Being a double header here in Mn.. Memorial day and Bass opener. I will be loading up my girl,2dogs and coolers full of beer in my jet rig and heading to a small river up north. I also have 2 buddies meeting me and they have river rig's also.

Gonna be a blast!!!

Be safe out there everyone, im not worried about myself but the rookies scare me!

Getting married on Sunday. The venue has a marina, and the new boat will be my groomsmen, fathers and my ride to the wedding! While the girls get ready and work on flowers etc, we will be enjoying some scotch and cigars on the boat!

We have a "villa" (or so they call it...basically just a hotel room at the lodge, but villa sounds more appealing) at Lake Blackshear reserved for Sunday night. Plan on watching the sun set from the boat on Sunday everning with my honey.

We have a small child, so we will be avoiding the crazies this weekend and swim in the pool instead.

looks like we'll be raftin all weekend on the ohio with the "big bumpers" out, to watch the festivities. the water temp was 69 last night on the ohio, but like 72 on the beaver, so swimmings in order.

The forecast is calling for some rain this weekend so hopefully the crowds won't be too ridiculous. The wife and I will be taking our 'new' '95 Smoker Craft Pro Mag out on the Cisco Chain in Watersmeet, MI this weekend.

Memorial Day weekend is a great weekend to hang out at the boat ramp and watch the fun.

We are having a lot of folks over the weekend. Some will stay over some not, but you never know who until it happens. Nieces, boyfriends, husbands, girlfriends, and some of my cronies as well.

If the weather is nice we will crank up the big boat, speedboat and likely the kayaks. We may even take a ride to the beach and stick a toe in the atlantic ocean. usually some folks don't have their boats ready this early, so the bay may not be crazy.

I may go out....I may stay home. I don't really like holiday boating, but 3 days at the dock???? Don't know if I can do it. I may need to go to Boaters Anonymous.

Weather permitting (Hopefully no rain!) we will be out in one form or another on Lake Hopatcong, probably Sunday and Monday all day. Going to entertain some friends and family plus tie up with some friends.

We just had TWINS so my boating expectations are low this year. But, I did get this done:

I launched a few days ago, took a 4 hr cruise, and dropped the boat off at rack storage. Now I just have to find time to use it ! I've heard twin babies and boats don't mix..... We'll see !

Have had this week-end planned for months. My 91 Thompson Calae 195 and a buddies 30' Searay. Going up above the Meldahl Dam on the Ohio River. Weather here is to be dry and in the mid 90's. Us old folks are sleeping on Searay and the kids are all camping. Big group of friends and family. Hoping it isn't to crazy on the water.

We will be out on the boat just about every day this weekend. Around West Michigan on Lake Michigan, Muskegon Lake, Spring Lake and White Lake. We were out on Lake Michigan last Saturday, conditions (except water temp) we're ideal !

Retired and usually stay home on weekends, for sure holiday weekends. But my kids have to work. Sooooo going to pound some salmon on LK Michigan with my two boys and one grandaughter Sun and Mon. Don't get out with them as much as would like so this will be a treat. First time for grandaughter, family has a rule. Must be 8 yrs old for the "big" lake. She has been on the water lots of other places.

I'll be out Sunday on Cagles Mill Lake, Indiana. Temp supposed to be 96! Sittin in the cove listening to the Indy 500. 91' Rinker 236.

Benefit of retirement.. Weekdays only... If we ever go out weekends it's usually back in by noon. Would not even consider being out there this weekend. Living by the lake there are just to many Memorial Day tales to tell... Have a safe Holiday..

Thank God for retirement. I'm headed to the lake tomorrow just for a test run. I will be smoking a boston butt (hard to light) for the weekend (bbq) drinking a cold one and listening to 80's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ROCK ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Eclectic ALABAMA
