im sitting it out due to lack of prepardness. If i can magically wrap up like 3 projects on the boat, we will go out Friday. but i doubt it. probably spend the extra time off double checking everything and maybe buffing the hull out for the season.
I am waiting for the shop to evaluate the motor, Unfortunately, due to the holiday, they can't check it out until after. If it's good I have a boat if not we will see
I will be out I am going to take the camper and the boat up friday afternoon to the local lake and be camping all weekend and the campground has our own private launch ramp that the public can't use which will help.
I am planning on going Saturday and Sunday - very early both days. But think I will pass on Monday. That day, just might sit at the launch and watch the madness!
Oh is that something special? California is just one long party beginning on Jan 1 and ending on Dec 25 - We need a few days to rest while winter passes
out here, memorial is one of the crazier ones, along with labor day ending the season generally. 4th of july can be wild too depending on the lake. but, ive gone out early and left early enough on memorial to be able to have a good time also. it just depends on location, time, etc.
I am planning on going maybe Sunday and Monday. Not planning on getting any fishing done however. But the weather is supposed to be just gorgeous, and I would just like to be out there, maybe lend help to some people who need a friendly hand or a tow.
