Sorry to here about the job loss.
I have seen glimmer of improvements in the economy around here. Slowly but surely things are improving. The problem is things are going too slow. Looks to me like our standard of living is going backwards for a long time. Started many years ago. My wife job is month to month in survival. I told her we have to put a years worth of bill paying in the bank just in case. Everybody should have a years worth of cash reserves in the new economy., Used to be 6 months reserves. Plan for the worst and hope for the best.
I think people should be prepared to relocate. Some states are doing much better than others. Like Texas and North Carolina etc. The problem is people can't sell their homes so they can move quickly
