Re: Will Detroit 671's fit in trojan f32 flybridge??

This happened 32 years ago so I seriously doubt that I can find any back round, nor do I want to. I'm just stating what I know to be a fact and could care less what in the hell you think.

LOL. I found records back to 1980, so 1972 isn't much of a stretch. Good chance the clay tablets it was inscribed on are still intact...

YOU made the claim, and then told ME where to look for the records. WTF? Look yourself.

I stand by the claim as I know it to be fact, I don't know what kind of archives those papers keep but I doubt it's 42 years ago. Who are you to question what I'm trying to do to make sure madman takes caution with his boat.
I hope you're smart enough to have a survey done when you buy a boat.

Re-read my posts, tough guy. I also advised Madman to 'take caution', for TWO different reasons... and I specifically recommended a survey.

Anybody on this forum has the right to question assertions you can't substantiate... and I never accused you of lying. Take the chip off your shoulder.

First of all I'm not a tough guy.
Second of all you're the one who wanted me to substantiate what I said. That is close to calling someone a liar.
I'm not the one with several THOUSAND posts on here, I just post when I think it may help someone.

You may want to call Jefferson Beach Marina on Jefferson in St Clair shores as they are the people who fixed a couple of these boats, although after 42 years I don't know if any of the oldtimers are still around.

This will be my last post on the subject, have a good day.

back to the topic, ....... Diesel is fine, however I don't think 671's are a realistic option. They are WAY to big for any 32ft Trojan. A pair of 671's are better suited for about a 50' boat (671's were a normal option in a 52' Chris Craft back in the 1950's.) -- I too would see what condition the current 350's are in.

No, it isn't. Learn something about language and context before you throw accusations around.

Glad that's your last post. I for one have had enough of your attitude.

^^^ +1 I'm in agreeance with Ned and other posters!!! Those Detroits seem big for that boat. Also follow up on f32 issues stated. A little homework is worth effort when it comes to the saftey of yourself and the folks onboard!! :peace:
