I got 200hp Rude that we need to mount a Power tech prop part # Un200 Rh 3 blade which is universal prop /hub 15 spline thru hull exhaust, prop fit right on the shaft, However it didn?t came with the hardware kit (Thrust washer, spacer, Lock nut) But I received the instructions only with it . The Kit is so hard to come by # UN0

I can't find this kit, so my local prop shop and authorized dealer for the this prop, was able to work w/ me to round a thrust washer that works and allow me to slide the prop all the way back to the gear case without it rubbing or binding. It?s pretty much good fit and it spins free like the OMC.... the thrust washer is much thinner than the OMC one but it stops at the same point the OMC does and sets in the back hub of the prop 100%

My big Q is the other side of the prop. The instructions say to use the OEM OMC 15 spline washer, then to add their spacer (Since I do not have the kit there is no telling how thick or how thin I need) then the OEM lock nut, Cap & Cotter pin. I was able to round a spacer/washer from the same prop shop.

After sliding every thing in place (thrust washer, Prop, OMC Spline washer , The spacer and slide the lock nut with the cap over it ) all that hand tight I pass the cotter pin by almost 2 full turns = 2 threads this without even tighten the nut .

So I called the Prop manufacture they told me to use extra couple spacer/washer if I have 2 or attempt to replace the spacer with thicker one, simply add as many to achieve the prop get secure in place but I don't see this safe unless am wrong. I just don?t want to do things that might risk my Lower unit which will cost me ...I can take few pic

The part # you gave at the start is incomplete, the full part # should be laser etched into the barrel near the front (leg) end of the prop. In Power Tech numbering UN200 does not mean universal fit and if that first picture you show is the back end of that prop it was made to fit a Mercury and that is the reason the hardware doesn't match up. You can probably make it work using regular stainless washers to fill the gap at the back end so you are tight to the cotter pin without doing any damage as long as you don't have to over tighten it to get the cotter pin in. If you go online to ptprop.com and check the catalogue once you find the full part # you can find out what prop you do have and also check to see what prop you might want. P.S> I am a Power Tech dealer and distributor.

Prop part # UN200PTC3RJ7P , Power tech said it's universal with the correct hardware kit that i don't have ..The kit am specifically looking for my Evinrude is the UN0 with p88 thrust washer kit, Power tech no longer sell them since this prop is no longer in production ...??Right now i got it to fit right with one thick washer without over tighten as you mentioned ..but if i can get my hand on that thrust washer it will be much better ..If you got it let me know

We have run props with a Merc hub on OMCs for years. Once the Merc splines are shortened in the hub like yours it will work just fine. If you are concerned bout getting the pin thru the castle part just use another washer. Once the nut is torqued down it shouldn't move (there is no pressure on the nut when in forward gear, you don't really even need one). We use a nylock nut and no cotter pin. You can still use the cotter pin if you like, no problem. You've already solved the big issue which is how the prop fitts to the gearcase.

it took over a week and a half to get this thing mounted with the correct hardware, Today it will hit the water to see what's the difference it could make or not ..This power tech Prop measure 14 1/4 X 17

Am shooting for 5500-5600 RPM's @ WOT considering i was able to get 5400-5500 RPM's with loaner OMC Prop 15X17 . am kind of skeptical but hoping for the best
