winterizing 4.3 gl 1997 ...

I had the boat professionally winterized...Found a bag with 2 brass threaded plugs...with a note to reinstall them in the spring before i start the boat...Is that normal to leave them out? I wonder where they go....i assume one on each side of the block. Thanks for your help.

Guessing there for the block drains,one in each side.

I guess they are cheap to buy new ones....they are getting old looking . I will have to look to see where they are on the motor...near bottom ?

The ones he gave me didnt seem to have a washer on them....is that normal?

Yes, only the blue plastic ones use a O ring.
