Re: wow!!, a USA product
Three Hondas in my garage. Each manufactured in USA/Canada. Have owned nothing but Honda since 1997. No complaints, all 9 of them are still in use within the family.
MADE IN THE USA? assembeled in the usa,the people getting rich off them live in japan, and spend the money in japan. assembling the cars are just service work and jobs, the real money is from the factory sales of the vehicles and thats supporting japans economy. the parts manufacturing sales are also japans. I choose to support americas economy ,and I worked for independant repair shops for 35 years, the hondas come in the shop on a tow truck for a oil soaked destributor quite often and toyotas with o2 sensor problems, and they are not cheap.and thier also a nightmare to work on. no thank you,you can have them,I have a 93 saturn SL2 thats showing 285000 miles now, cars in good shape, uses 1 quart of oil between services, and I have a 1991 explorer, transmissions weak, but the rest of the truck is in great shape,233000 miles and uses no oil bettween services.I once worked on a 1965 barracuda, original owner,it had 1 million 1 hundred thousand miles on it,and was on its 3rd engine. if a domestic car is breaking down on you,you may want to check to make sure your servicing it properly, and on time,I have no problems with them.
