Sorry, Murky, those are all at best allegations.

Sounds more like sour grapes from an election that turned out not to your liking.
And that, of course, is exactly what was argued when the there was allegations of similar underhanded shenanigans by the Repubs in Ohio and Florida.

Hey, I have an idea. Let's in the future spend the money to make the voting process uniform.

If banks ran ATM's this way, or states ran lotteries this way, they'd all go broke.

I have no idea what you are referring to, Pointer, but FTR, global warming is a measurable phenomenon, and hardly a fantasy. To the extent there is controversy, it is about what is causing it, as opposed to whether it is happening.

Although it is off point on the thread I think that we have made a breakthrew. Ok PW point to me a mathmatical relationship between CO2 and temperature change. That is our entire point. Not that it isn't getting warmer, but the reasons that it is. There is no relationship.

The "why" into why they are fired is IRRELAVENT. No why is required to remove them. Period! Therefore no story, no issue, no controversy. Unless someone would like to fabricate one. Which is the case here.

But it is interesting that the President DOESN'T NEED A REASON to fire the attorneys, but the left demands one, But when it comes to the fantasy that is global warming, where the rights of Americans are at risk, the left doesn't feel they need to produce a difinitive, trackable, reliable reason. Just because they want it to be true, doesn't mean it is.

Scientists have been predicting this phenomenon since before I was in college science classes, with experimental models and the like. It is nothing new.

With arctic core samples they have been able to track changes in CO2 levels over the last 600,000 years or so, and correlate them with previous global warming and cooling cycles. It is currently at unprecedented levels.

And, within the last 600 years or so, there is finally general agreement the earth is spherical.

Simply wishing something wasn't true isn't sufficient to make it not true.

You had a lucky point, (but only one point that Mr. Tree found for ya, [he is quite skilled in debate and research and I think he uses critical thinkin' from time to time, which is fun for me to debate and engage him]), on the WSJ's reporting: calling McKay a Dem, (an understandable error: but irritating to someone like me who uses his single brain cell to formulate cornclusions about matters). You had a very close election in 2000 between Slade and Maria (in your old home town), where there were some problems that could fit your 'sour grapes' guess, as you seem very uninformed about your old home town. The 2004 contest went to Rossi in the first count and the recount; John F Kerry paid for the Dem troops to find enough votes to put Christine G. in office: (129), and the well documented irregularities as specified on the Sound Politics cites above, were more then the margin of victory. If you are a biased clown unable to ingage in any critical thinkin' you'd dismiss the two counts that gave Rossi a victory and you would characterize the well documented irregularities as: "allegations". This is false, completely false, it is not only false with regards to the earth, it is false with consideration of the time man has been on the earth. As you said, wishing it to be so doesn't make it so.

Again, I missed the direct mathmatical relationship between CO2 and the changes in the earths temp. Do you know what the #1 gas that creates the "global warming" effect? Water Vapor. But to understand this makes it difficult to blame SUV's, big oil, or man in general.
