Yamaha T9.9 no power to starter

Yamaha T9.9 4 stroke electric start. The motor was working great the day before. When I went to start it the next day, nothing happend when I pushed the start button. Power tilt works, battery is fully charged and capable of starting the big motor 125 hp mercury outboard. 9.9 outboard will not start, won't even turn over. When I push the start button, no sound is heard, no clicking nothing. Emergency kill switch is fully attached. Transmission is in neutral. I've checked and rechecked battery terminals as well as positive and ground connections to the motor (12.7volts at the motor). Any help would be much appreciated.

What is the complete model identity. All T9.9s are not the same.

Start button or key switch?

Check for 12+ to the start device(button or key switch) to make sure that has power.
if it does not trace the wiring back to see where it is being lost.
if it does have 12V+ then chase in the other direction if the other side of switch gets power when operated

GENERAL STARTER CIRCUIT.. Test with volt meter or test light .. A Starter is controlled by A solenoid .. the control voltage side of the starter (smaller diameter wires) is activated by the start switch usually thru a neutral safety switch .. the Heavy wire side of the solenoid takes 12 v+ from the battery and sends it to the heavy hot wire on the starter, when the solenoid is activated .. the solenoid is just an electronic switch that connects the high amperage cables together when the solenoid is engaged. Before you take anything apart test for voltage ... A quick easy test of the starter could be you connecting a heavy gauge battery cable from the battery positive to the starter hot side .. that should crank the motor. You can use a car jumper cable set . Both the starter and the solenoid will have a Hot side and a ground .. The starter hot side will be coming from the heavy output side of the solenoid ... The solenoid much smaller terminal hot side with originate from the start or key switch and the other side will be grounded. Dont forget about the safety lanyard switch which will interrupt the solenoid start circuit if activated..
