i think it's further damning since the dealer took a mastercraft branded trailer and stuck it under a used boat. had they left the boat's original trailer under the boat and said they never touched or looked at it, there isn't much the buyer can say other than he bought a crappy trailer. but the dealer took one of their unwanted trailers, told him it was fine when they most likely knew it wasn't. if they thought the trailer was really ok, it would have stayed under a mastercraft boat. it wasn't ok and they weren't going to stick a mastercraft buyer with it.
