This happened about two summers ago,I still cant believe this one myself. We were out pontooning along a little above idle in about 75ft of water, and my 12 year old son is playing with his new pocket knife. He had been using it for cutting bait and everything that a 12 year old can do with a knife with Dad watching. So he has the blades closed and is flipping it in the air and catching it, I tell him to stop doing that, well the next time he misses and the knife bounces off the back of the boat. Before I could even yell STOP or even open my mouth he dives off the back of the boat after it. All I could do was shut the motor down and run to see where he was. Scared crapless I see him coming up from about 10ft under with his knife in hand. And as he breaks the surface he yells, I GOT IT! <br /><br />I had a long long long talk with my son that day.
