Re: What does everyone do for a living?
I can't say everything I do creates a financial living for me, but the things I learn and the people I meet creates what I am and drives me further along in my life.
Education: Computer Engineering Technologist (hardware (ie. circuit boards, not building, fixing computers or user end software).
For $$ I work for a software development company that specializes in retail POS software for the wireless industry (moving to new verticals soon).
For $$ I also do consulting work on the side and will be signing a contract with a large home automation supplier to do software work.
For $$ I have recently started to dabble in Internet ventures. None of which has really made much, but I haven't put too much time in either.
Odd jobs (that I sometimes get $$ for, but mostly for networking) include helping a buddy start a custom motorcycle frame business aside from his regular repair/parts shop (specializing in Japanese built motorcycles) and website maintainer for him, novice machinest, 3D Cad/Cad designer, website architect, custom motorcycle builder, boat customizer, mechanic, idea consultant (technical or bike related stuff), computer builder, computer fixer, welder, carpentry, blah blah blah.
Can't forget knocking off items on the honey-do list either. Without doing that I wouldn't be alive so no use in doing any of the above
Jack of all trades, master of some!
EDIT: OOOH OOOH!! I forgot, professional SHT reader (that section holds me like a magnet!)
