Re: Thanks for the help.

I'd also like to thank Dhadley, OBJ, Joe Reeves, moderator1, the list goes on and on. I'd also like to personally apologize again to DHPMARINE and anybody else I offended last summer(?) with my comments about the "$tealer". . . . I am very frustrated every time I have to deal with a few specific salespeople at one particular large local dealership, so I (wrongly) was spouting off about it in one of my threads. I know that these individuals do not = all dealers, so I should have and will just keep my big, fat yapper shut about it from now on and just exercise my right to not give that dealership my business anymore. :D

Re: Thanks for the help.

Joe Reeves and myoutboards get a big thank you for helping with my battery problem. Also I bought the rectifier that myoutboards suggested from radio shack part #276-1185 and it worked perfect and the cost was $3.29 instead of 40 bucks. Thanks again

Re: Thanks for the help.

This site is priceless. I learned more in about a month BEFORE I even registered, just reading the posts than I have ever learned. The people here have been outstanding. I know I will need more help and probably soon! I have allot more confidence now working on my engines though, thanks to iboats. I have referred many people here so you can blame me for the newbies. :)

Re: Thanks for the help.

I would like to add my thanks to all the members who have helped me and to all the ones who have made posts. I have learned more than I ever thought I wanted to know about boat motors. The forum has made it possible for me to troubleshoot my own engine and to start helping others who are just learning.

Re: Thanks for the help.

Just wanted to extend my thanks for all the help I received here. Got my lower unit seals replaced with lots less trouble than I expected. Following advice from the forum I replaced the impeller while I was at it. Good thing too since it was in pretty tough shape. Got the lower unit back on on Saturday, slide the boat in, and it works like a champ. Many, many thanks to all!

Re: Thanks for the help.

I just want to say thanks to several guys here whose posts helped me avoid a few problems with the rebuild of my father-in-laws Johnson 70. I relocated the tell-tale today (a fews hours after gluing the exhaust gasket in  ) after reading here about the service bulletin. I picked up that and several other important tips from browsing topics in this forum.

Thanks folks!

I just wanted to thank everyone that has helped me in the past also. There are to many to mention. The help was instrumental in helping me rebuild my first 1957 Sportwin 10 h.p. And now I am a motor head also.

THANKS EVERYONE!

Mike

Re: Thanks for the help.

Hi Ya All, I must also offer my thanks and gratitude to the great blokes on this forum. Although the 2 questions I have asked have not prompted an answer the information gleaned from reading about others problems and your helpful recommendations to them has helped me to nurse my Johnson VRO 70hp through a sticky period and she is now running top line.
Cheers my friends.

Re: Thanks for the help.

So glad to see a thread like this -- Wanted to especially thank EUROLARVA -- This guy is the Chrysler king -- he is always patient and never talks down to any "stupid" questions -- Would not have been able to replace my powerhead without his insight -- Also a huge thanks to myoutboard, Roscoe, and everyone one else on the chrysler/force forums that has helped me out!!
