I bit the bullet and used them anyway and every length of hose leaks at the clamps. It's not the right ID. Too loose. I've tried the sprung clamps...

    Propeller removal 40hp force/mercury '96

    Really having trouble removing this prop. At 10 and 4 o'clock there are raised circular tabs that hold the locking ring. I'm guessing the whole thing should just slide off with a puller but am asking in case that center part is somehow threaded on? Any help much appreciated!! Thanks.
