    I have put a clear filter in place now after I cleaned the carbs. Now I just have to stop this thing from leaking gas and it should be good to go I hope so anyways until the next problem. I got a good deal on this moter so it's worth putting the time and a few$$$ into.

    Good deal thanks for advice. The float doesn't have any gas in it I soaked it in a cup of gas to be sure.

    The one I ordered shows it has a rubber tip. Atleast in the picture anyways. Hope it's right.

    I personally have never used one or owned one but I have a few boating buddy's to that swear buy using jack plates. They say they are amazing. May help in your situation. For me they cost to much seeing I've never had a issue without them.

    I believe your right. It's hard to tell on the picture I posted but the very top of that needle is missing. If I look up in the hole it goes in I see a small piece of orange something I'm guessing thats what it is. I was going to get a small needle or something and try and fish it out once my...

    Sounds like linkage setup to me also. Try doing the link and sink setup. You can find the proper procedure on threads here. Look it up in the search bar. Good luck

    Its hard to tell if the one I ordered has a rubber tip or not. Some of them do and some don't.

    I made another post on my issues but just keep you updated. I found that my float needle has a rubber tip that seems to be boogerd up. Trying to find one but the ones im seeing online don't have a rubber tip any suggestions Buddy
