    I'm debating. I've bought both the paint and the fiberglass restorer. Both are separate and long projects. So what should I do? It's an older fiberglass boat that's highly oxidized. Will the fiberglass restorer/ wax do the trick or should I just paint it?

    Boat Runs on Ear Muffs Stalls in Water

    In neutral it runs fine in or out of water (ear muffs). In water it stalls when put in gear. Ideas? Sometimes I can get it going in water and it runs great. It's a 1972 50 hp Johnson.

    50 HP 50 Anniversary Johnson - No steady stream of exhaust water???

    Is this normal? I see water coming out of the exhaust portals near the top of the engine, but they're not in a solid stream. More just sifting out the ports. Is this normal?

    Boat Goes in Gear Fine with Ear Muffs, stalls in Water.

    This subject says it all. I've got my old 1972 Johnson 50 hp 50 anniversary engine running and shifting into gear great on Ear Muffs. As soon as it goes into gear in water it stalls out. Ideas? Is this a major issue?
