    Use a sharp pointy tool.----Remove o-ring.-----Install the new o-ring.-----That hole may spray water into the exhaust for cooling.----Do not fuss over that hole.

    ????----Of course the piston comes out of this engine !----It just comes out in a different way.----This motor must be taken apart.

    If the primer bulb collapses the fuel pump works very well.----Once a motor starts the primer bulb does NOT need to be hard !

    There are 2 coils under the flywheel.-----There is no primary coil.-----This magneto is elegantly simple .---Used on motors from 1.5 to 40 HP.----Installed from 1950 to 1990 models.----You replacement ignition parts are factory original , or something else?

    When the bulb collapses there is a blockage between the bulb and the fuel supply.---You checked the valves in the bulb ?-----You checked inside the tank ?----Checked anti syphon valve ?-----Why the " industrial " language for what might be a simple fix ?

    ???-----Take the motor apart first !!!-----Inspect all parts.----Then decide on a path forward.----Needle bearings on the rods are usually OK to reuse.----Reeds are very durable and rarely need to be replaced.

    100 HP firing order.----for Cbboats.-----The distributor cap is marked with cylinder numbers.-----Did you have the belt off ?----What is your motor doing / not doing ?

    ???----These pumps are very reliable / simple.----So easy to replace the diaphragm.-------These motors did not use roller bearings on the crankshaft like the 18HP Johnson / Evinrude did.

    Motor needs to come apart for inspection.----Then repair as needed.-----Looks like something broke INSIDE the motor.-----That resulted in the damage seen in the second picture.----Not difficult if you can do the work yourself.-----Hard to find a shop that will take on this kind of work.----And...
