    Hi Todd, The first pic is the throttle OMC 2.3. I did my best trying beind the side panel. There is an attachment point where both cables are side by side but can't get a clear picture of it so I don't know what may or may not be part of the cable itself. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi all just a quick question I hope. In reading some of the articles about setting the idle speed I have seen a couple people mentioning about the speed going lower once in the water compared to being on muffs. Is there a rough estimate on the change of rpm's?

    The boat I am currently working on is my first. I suggest doing alot of research prior to starting and see if it's in your range. My 88 Capri post like others can give you some idea and always come to the forum with questions.

    I had a similar issue when I started my project in which I started being alot more generous with the acetone and putting a coat of resin down prior to laying and wetting the cloth and it really eliminated that issue for me.

    I originally had 3/4" pine boards for stringers and they lasted 30 years. I replaced them with 3/4" plywood and they are so much stronger than the originals plus last my lifetime because they are sealed correctly.
