How to get boat launched daily when Travel Trailer camping?

Some issues : 68 KG is not that heavy, that 350 should have 4 side carrying handles, right ? how many grown up souls will be on board. Which type of vehicle will be used to transport the Sib to the camp site ? Boring Assembling/Disassembling takes quite some time, will need an electric 12 V...

    Intermittent water

According to the OP : Pulled the lower unit and checked the pump and impeller. Both seemed like new since it was operated only a few hours since the pump was new. Was the WP an OEM or alternative cheaper one ? To rule out if the water pump it's doing its homework right or not, pull the lower...

    Intermittent water

Plugged-Up it's much different than non clogged reduced water passages scenarios. Boating in good clean water will produce scale, lime deposits over the years due to : Porous water passages and hundreds of constant ON/Off heating cooling cycles the motor will need to run with. It's the same as...

    Intermittent water

Some issues: The OP has not stated if the motor was run in salt or fresh water scenarios, do you think that after 32 years of boating all the water passages will be found pristine clean ? Nope, that accounts for reduced pressurized water being pumped by the impeller passing thru the entire...

    E-Tec 60 HP.-

Some E-Tec owners are using screwable plastic fittings for that purpose whose rear ending (where the hose connects to) must be at least 10 mm in diam in order to properly cool the fuel vapor separator and the EMM. Have several plastic fittings, will check which one screws in nicely to the...

    Intermittent water

The motor's schematic shows a blind t-stat housing, doesn't have a traditional removable cover which means you'll have to tear the cylinder head in order to check how much salt/lime contamination the t-stat and all the water passages have already collected over 32 years of boating on salt or...

    E-Tec 60 HP.-

Thanks, can flush this motor with ear muffs or thru the flushing port located at the rear of the middle leg, it's a much better way to adequately flush with more pressurized water going thru the motor as long as you want whether ON or OFF. Let's find out if anyone is using the flushing dapter...

Zodiac Tube Valve Z67080, Pumps, Pressure Gauges, and Removal Tool

A hand pump it's much better than a foot pump, faster to pump, more arm power than leg power at least to me. This is the yellow pressure gauge was referring to : Was used in the old diaphragm flapper type air valve, you keel probably has one ? Happy Boating

Zodiac Tube Valve Z67080, Pumps, Pressure Gauges, and Removal Tool

Zodiac used to have a yellow rubberized pressure gauge which had a colored reading dial compared to needle ones, hooks straight to the black tube to check pressures through the day. Will check latter if counting with a pic. I use a Bravo 6 hand pump with an attached pressure gauge on the...

A few questions from a learner

Without offense happens the OP's prop is not yours in current use powering whatever your boating with, prop you don't know anytng about, which it's a completely different playland park. Bad idea to wot test a chewed, shot prop, needs to be water tested way in advance to know if performed top...

Are Tohatsu/Merc Motors Over Propped ?

Actually what stated corresponds to 2 stroke Tohhatsu motors, not 4 stroke, both needs a prop maximization for any combo to run top, have seen no 2 or 4 stroke motor being factory delivered with under pitched props, have tached several just for curiosity purposes that accounts for that.. Happy...
