The Lake will never be the same again

So I found some RC boats online, pretty cool they only run for like 10 minutes at full throttle but they go like heck, Grandson's will have a ball playing with them on the dock, I sure hope they don't cause wake issues after 4 pm, when the association would prefer we park our go fast boats.

    Chainsaw Carving

Impressive, 99% of the chainsaw art is either an eagle or a bear.

The Lake will never be the same again

The "tourists" are cabin owners that show up on weekends, the rest of us buy gas, groceries, hardware every week. The rest, get back to me when you pay the taxes to live on the lake. We don't think we own the lake but will be damned if we will be lectured on using the lake.

The Lake will never be the same again

There is a divide on the lake I live on, it is going from being a cabin lake to being a house lake. Those of us that live on the lake ignore the "tourist" lake association folks. Lakes are for kids to enjoy.

The human race has forgot what has gotten us this far, evolve and adapt.

Convert 14ft aluminum closed bow to open

Please don't butcher that boat, it has more value to a collector than being a hacked up fishing boat.

The Lake will never be the same again

1983 Lund Tyee, and a Pontoon, we moved to the lake when my daughter had her first son to be close. We take the boys for overnights when ever we can. Best decision we ever made.

The Lake will never be the same again

Kids had their life jackets on while grandma was making pancakes this morning. They were ready to roll, did talk them into fishing off for the dock for a little while but the tube rules.

The Lake will never be the same again

My grandsons are getting old enough to tube behind the boat, at slow speed. I went and bought a 3 person tube with a back on it and handles for each seat. Put the boys on it with their Dad and started pulling was not 5 minutes and I was getting the speed up signal. 2-1/2 hours later the boys...

    Lucky Day

I did order a new motor today, the down motion sounds bad. Wish me luck going to try to replace with the whole motor on the boat because I have no alternative.

    Lucky Day

Tilt and trim was not working on the go fast, this was problematic for the skier due to wake size and trimming properly. (don't bother I did not bring up hull displacement and wake size) I pulled the boat and got motor wedged up, relays were working I looked at the trim motor and said well that...

Opening day of summer boating season.

My grown kids come up with their friends take the pontoon and go fast out to play, I seem them when they need gas or are hungry. Not complaining that is why I live where I do and why my boats are old tin, no worries about wear and tear.

I guess I should not complain about 36 plus gallons a day burned pulling skiers and tubers.

    projects other than boats

I wanted a loon decoy for the mantle, was very disappointed with what I found online, they were ornaments not decoys. I ended up finding a vintage blanc made in 1979, sanded it and glued the head on. I am not artistic at all, not creative enough to doodle but I am giving it a go.
