    tha only fuel filter on it will be a screen on tha fuel pump (under tha single screw on tha pump) unless one has been added inline somewhere.. one thing ta check is tha idle stabilizer.. get rid of it completely if its still being used.. it can and will cause timing problems at any rpm if it...

    can you put up a picture of what you have on yours?... as long as tha three pieces are a matched set, (carb roller, cam and linkage) go together as shown it should work no mater what hp it is...

    could be? doubt it.. "unhooked the hose coming from the impellere"???.. pull tha hose at tha top of tha block that goes down ta tha poppet.... no water at tha top of block then ya probably got something wrong in tha downhousin'.. ie: pump, guide tube and/or a grommet get a water pressure gauge...

    thats good... run it till it quits again and keep some black and purple wire handy.... or jus black maybe since tha red is constant...but tha only problem with that is tha red is constant power no mater if tha key is on or off.............

    JAN: your serial number is "zero" 0t143331... not an O... it won't show up anywhere with an "O"......

    ecu pump driver circuit is done... you can run it this way if ya want.. disconnect both pos and neg from pump and tape 'em up.. take a regular ground from anywhere on tha block to tha neg on tha pump.. find a "purple" anywhere on tha motor.. splice into it and go to tha positive on tha pump...

    pretty sure tha blocks are of different castings.... porting is way different plus tha 2.0 in first original casting is with tha sleeves in it.. thats one of tha reasons they are so tough.. has "99.9%" fewer interface problems....

    All 2.4 175's were chrome... used tha 200 block half.. thats why they ran really good... "most" could stay with any 200.. tha horizontal front on tha 200 made a slight difference with top end.

    looks ta be an '88 or very early '89 at best........ '89 went ta bucket cowls.. look here for a date stamp on tha block... probably won't be as clear as this one but is in tha same general area.. behind tha "bend" in tha timin' arm...
