    So the first time I tried the fenderwasher thing was on my mom's truck in 08. Never an issue. Did my truck somewhere around 2013 with no problems either.

    To get rid of the rattle I welded 2" fender washers on 2 sides of the hitch and sanded til I had a tight, snug fit and still can still attach and remove.

    So I have the ford. So not apples to apples. 1. My sender has zero to do with what the trim does. It just reports to a Guage on the dash where the motor is sitting....just like a gas Guage. 2. I think my cylinders have more travel than that

    So here are examples of external resistors. I doubt you have a resistor wire. Note how I says on the pink " resistor wire do not cut". Most likely you will have a ceramic ballast. Just make sure if you buy a coil it says "external resistor".

    Here is a coil tidbit. There are external resistor coils and internal resistor coils along with 6volt and 12 volt. Make sure you get the right one

    If your laying on something you will need mat. The way it was explained to me was that the random fibers find their way into all the nooks and crevasses to get a better bond between the cloth and substrate

    Might have been a little overkill but I wanted something that would last. Every piece of wood that was put into boat was 100% wrapped in fiberglass before Install. Then tabbed,glassed or whatever was needed

    Truck reporting over hitch weight

    Here is my old tow rig. Now it has a 454 vortec with a 4l80e and matching transfer case. Working on upgrade to 6.0 ls3. I get a lot of complements having 70's truck with matching Era boat
