    could be a couple of things happening. need to inspect. could be the soft line from the master cylinder or to the wheel cylinder. could be corrosion in the bore/piston area. could be a damaged line or leaking fitting do you boat in salt water? if so, do you wash the trailer after you get home?

    Ted, you know the prices of used 338 outboards are coming down. it may be less money to simply sell what you have and buy what you want. there is a 2019 for $249k and a 2022 for $279k (with new custom interior)
