New ish 2021 - 2025 Honda CRV trans better now?

They're better now, but Id be wary of used, Iff I was to get a CAR with CVT, nothing you want to be strong or fast, I'd look into what type of belt it has - newer ones have stronger materials, but still flex.

I don't think so, thanks for the heads-up on that. But something has changed - maybe I need to drive over there (unannounced)

I got got on a new purchase

yes, and does a tri-hull meet your boating wants (for this boat)? I'd consider that before putting too much work into it. Maybe it does.

    Need to vent....

That's for sure. Following this line of thought, the formerly-good local HVAC company I've worked with for years added plumbing and electrical to their services - they ended-up scaring the Admiral (on many things I know are incorrect) into having a GFCI outlet replaced for about 285 labor and...

    88 Stratos Trail boat trailer

I think it was the material- to-be painted condition, the prep and painting conditions, and the entire process that led to your observed success - more than than the kind of paint. Fortunately, chemicals are often (not always) better now than those used in 1988

    1976 Starcraft Chieftain 18' OB - restomod

The background music is great! Been following your projects, and understand where you're at. I am trying to get rid of stuff/simplify for those that will still be on this planet when I am not. I am considering leaving a few $ for removal/disposal of the stuff nobody wants, and reduce my...

New canvas bow cover rolling at edges, solutions?

Newly fitted and made? or older and not used? The material may have shrunk if older but not used/kept stretched. Maybe reseal it (several good products out there) and while wet, put it back on/snapped but flat, then keep increasing the pole length to get it to stretch and drain. Pics might...

    Went electric

Aside from the realities of any multi-purpose piece of equipment, this part is funny "the company offers an all-electric version as an optional add-on. Neither the price of the electric nor the standard version has been released yet"

    Went electric

Have gone electric for trimmer, blower, and "hedge trimmer'- OK for light duty use, and now the kids can get me drills, lights, etc that go with my 'system'. Much easier to deal with especially when transporting to other places that need some light duty work done. Timing works out for me, no...
