    I have used 100 to 1in both Evinrudes since 1999. Engines are stored in upstate N Y. NO fogging was / is ever done. Wear tests have confirmed that 330 to 1 is perfectly safe for normal use. Bless all the fearful people. Keep oil companies in 300 foot yachts.

    DO NOT run the engine on that BAD mixture !!! have it pumped out !!! Refill it correctly. Any marina should have a pump to do it safely. Almost for free.

    I do it slightly different. I usually has a gallon left in the gas tank when I switch to the spare 2nd 6 gallon tank. At the gas refueling dock I pour the oil FIRST into the tank.     A NON vented gas cap can over pressure the carburetor float and needle tip parts. Get lucky Get a vented gas cap.

    Hot humid weather starts the Dielsing sooner and more violently. Some gasoline My be prone to Dieseling. Engine rooms that are too tight around the engine can cause overheating from a fast high speed stop. Like going to pick up a skier. And shutting off the engine.

    The modern Fuel Injected Lean Burn engines have a built in problem. The injectors are aimed at the coolest surface of the intake valve. Result is carbon build up on the valve.

    I can tell you this fact about trolling motor locations. A BOW mounted motor...PULLING... is the most efficient use of power. And smooth steering of a boat. Especially in wind and current conditions. Mabe direction of main prop rotation could determine which side is better.

    Gas companies are always looking for ways to make more profit by cutting corners. I found Seafoam every 3 months returned about 12 % of lost gas mileage.

    Chasing Down Fuel Delivery Issue

    I have never used winter or summer additives. Good gas wil be fine next spring. Less Octane. But still very strong to run down & refill.
