    Should be post # 2 problem due to last person going in there. Remove the small access cover to see the coupling. My screws had no S S lock washers. I bought 2 at a hardware store. I took 1 bolt with me to get the right size.

    grub You bring up a TELLING point about sparkplugs. NGK for years has been warning about counterfeit sparkplugs labeled NGK.

    Holes drilled in boxed or tube frames will rust. As new holes are drilled thru the metal coverings. All holes must be drilled out. Before it is dipped into hot plating tank.

    No Spark, feels like I’ve tried everything.

    Post 30 said the battery voltage is collapsing to 10 volts. Is the battery voltage still collapsing to 12 or 10 volts ? Do you know that is probably a worn out starter or starter contactor ? Or simply a run down battery ? You need a real marine mechanic. DIY is not doing the job.

    You have loose and corroded big battery cables. Remove and clean the bat5tery posts and inside of the cable clamps on them. Might be so bad that a replacement is needed.
