    Towed some Folk

All I can say is that it would be a sorry SOB that wouldn't respond to someone in distress.....on the water or otherwise. Using your celly and uploading to social media in real time does not count as "help" either.....lol

1980 chryler 85hp charger tach replacement

Need to clarify this statement......I found the tach I wanted on the Faria website but they don't sell them on there. You have to find a dealer or look on amazon, ebay, etc. Iboats supposedly sells them, but I couldn't find any when I looked. FYI.....

    1989 Force 125hp propeller torque

These quotes are from the late Frank A. (RIP).....he gives a great explanation for proper prop nut torque....... "The prop nut should be a nylock self locking nut and a little past snug should be tight enough. If the lower unit uses the Mercury style nut with tabbed locking washer, the nut...

Force 125 Trim Motor working, but I think it should go higher

At the top of this forum in the FAQ section there are a couple threads about trouble shooting the T&T system.......usually the leak down is caused by bad seals in the valve body at the bottom of the pump assembly.

    1987 Force 125 tower shaft linkage frozen/seized

#32 is the shift pivot pin and is further down on the bullet shaped part of the LU and is in a recessed hole......removing it won't damage anything but could require complete disassembly of the LU to get the gear shift arm #45 back in place (after it falls out of place after removing #32)...

    Chrysler 75hp, need direction.

That's pretty much how it is......they open late. But if you watch the distributor it is advancing the whole time before the throttle plates open fully at WOT......it's like ....magic! Lol.

    Re- torque head bolts?

Torque spec for head bolts is only 225 In Lbs, or 18.75 Ft Lbs......so they are not really that tight. Main thing is to follow the correct sequence when torqueing them down....and do it in several steps. Do all at like half torque, then 3/4, then full torque.
