    force 120 hi reving issue

The low compression is probably the gauge or the way it was taken. The 95/120 was designed to have lower comp on #1 and 4 and higher on 2/3 There is NO idle adjustment on either carb. Those are air/fuel mix screws to set the mix at idle. The idle is adjusted at the bottom of the towershaft...

1990 Force 120 2 stroke loss of power high rpm

Leave the white alone, it covers a jet, nothing in there to mess with. It ALWAYS help if you tell us what we're working on. Year? HP? I see twin carbs so it's a 4cyl. 125 or 120?? The pic of the fuel pump and you say there's a crack?? Kinda blurry. IF?? there is a crack?? it could be sucking air...

    1980 Chrysler Sea King 15 Overheating/Waterpump Concerns

The pic of the mid section, it shows where the water tube comes up from the lower unit, is/was there a grommet or anything where the tube meets the top into the powerhead? There should be some kind of seal to stop the water from shooting out the edges? where the tube meets the head. When the two...

    89 125 force

Probably. The Seloc and Clymer manuals suck. They cover a LOT of different motors with "general knowledge" about them. They sell 4 publications: service manual :) , owners manual :(, parts manual:( service bulletin manual :( Ebay...

    1978 Chrysler 85HP Powerhead Swap

What the heck is a "valve seat" ?? Maybe the needle/seat? Most that I've seen the seat isn't removable?? If it is it will have a slot across the top like a screwdriver slot. Seat repair: sometimes with a solid needle there's a teeeeny tiiiiny o-ring in the bottom of the seat??? Or the needle...

    1978 Chrysler 85HP Powerhead Swap

It takes a lot to warp one of these heads so bad it won't work. Piece of glass on a flat surface, then use a feeler gauge to see how much clearance is on the head, measure in a lot of places.

You might be able to get some water out by running, but?? are you sure? I'd remove the sending unit and pump out everything. Then make sure the tank is dry. NO VACUUMS= BOOM

    1980 Chrysler Sea King 15 Overheating/Waterpump Concerns

Looks like it runs good. I'd get the heat gun before there's any damage?? It has water/exhaust coming from the back: Normal What did the old impeller look like when you removed it? Missing any vanes/blades?

    1980 Chrysler Sea King 15 Overheating/Waterpump Concerns

No thermostat: you should be able to touch the head without burning yourself. The area around the plug and the plug will get hot enough to burn, be careful. Might be the cooling passages are blocked? the heat gun will help show that. The pic shows a thermo from a 40 that had the passages almost...

    Water in Fuel Starting Issues

Depending on the filter?? pull it and dump it into a clear glass jar, check for water. You can add all the gas you want and if there's water in there it's gonna be the first thing drawn from the tank. Heet, only treats a very small amount of water. It doesn't remove it just makes it easier to...

Another Guy With Force 120 Issue

One of the best, cheapest tools in my tool box is a 16$ temp gun. It can show where the hot spots are and IF??? the motors really getting hot.

    1980 Chrysler Sea King 15 Overheating/Waterpump Concerns

If the head gets so hot the water steams??? then somethings too hot?? The video shows the motor pumping out the back holes on the mid section. Get a heat gun, Harbor Freight usually under 25$ I don't think they put a thermostat in the smaller motors.

Another Guy With Force 120 Issue

Thermo. Is it any good?? Test it? Pan of water on the stove, turn the heat up and watch the thermo to see if it opens like it should? It's not in backwards? don't think it can?

    1984 Chrysler Force 125 (1258x4a) no spark/weak spark on #3&4 cylinders

outboardignitiondotcom has test procedures for your motor. Try swapping the packs around and see if the spark changes to the other plugs? The stator can test good but still be bad :(
