    Agree, it's fine. Low quality control at Merc is reason it's rusting. The rust will not effect the motor. You could use a wire brush and get as much off as possible, then prime and repaint. If you go to dealer they will do similar at maybe $100 an hour or more

    Good, your SN is 0W607592 The hose would go from the valve cover fitting to a tang on the flame arrestor. Can see in pic of the like, the hose just slide over the tang and then motor sucks in the vapors when it's running https://www.mercruiserparts.com/863200-arrestor-flame

    I the pump mounted in the correct position? Reason is my 125 has one pump and could be mounted "I think" higher and it would fit but hole doesn't go thru to exhaust. My 140 uses 2 pumps and there is a pump mounted in both places. Would need to go to the shop and look to verify
