    There are two sizes of 10 micron external fuel filters available from Yamaha. A large one for large motors and a small one for small motors. Of course the small motors can use the large one.

    Who said anything about those wires being blue and white? I will say it only once. Do not go connecting the Command Link network to the Command Link Plus network. It will get expensive.

    You have both. The four pin connector is Command Link. NMEA 2000. The six pin connector is Command Link Plus. J1939.

    The sender is a variable resistor. All blacks are normally grounds. Can't imagine why it would not be on your boat. You can measure the resistance on the pink wire at the dash. To any ground. The resistance should be the same at the dash as it is when measured directly at the sender connector...

    The trim sender is located on the clamp bracket. A component below the bottom cowling. Find the sender and then follow the wires into the bottom cowling. Then follow those wires inside the cowling, one of which, the pink one, leads to the single four pin connector. Let me know what you find.

    A machine shop might be able to get in there with a plasma torch and cut the nut off. Maybe resulting in less collateral damage than if using a chisel.
