cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

Territories matter. If folks in the great wonderful world of Europe would tend to their territory, folks in other territories would not be getting misleading information. If not for folks in one territory, then folks in other territories would all be speaking German today.

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

Depends upon where "over there" is. To those in the USA, operating Yams distributed by Yamaha USA, it makes no sense at all.

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

What is Yamaha Europe doing since the elimination of model years here in the USA? Does the PID label still have a model year code in the lower right hand corner? Is it still referred to as a model year motor or is it now a production year motor? Is the production year 01/01 thru 12/31 or is...

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

This is a US website. Although obviously being available worldwide to all. Except to Russia for the time being. It would be helpful to those asking questions to say what country they are in. And to give us the primary ID of the motor. But that seems to be a pipe dream. We can barely get much...

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

For Yamaha motors distributed by Yamaha USA, the letter in the lower right hand corner is irrelevant. The letter P means nothing to a user. The fourth letter in the USA model code denotes the model year. For example, using the F225TXRC above, the letter C means that it is a 2004 model year...

2006 225 4stroke runs poor until warmed up.

How can you be trouble shooting and working on a motor without having the applicable service manual on hand? Appears to me you are doing maintenance for compensation. Why are you depending upon the largesse of the Iboats community to help you in a commercial situation?

2006 225 4stroke runs poor until warmed up.

Thermostats are used to help the block to warm up faster and to ensure that the block can come up to operating temperature in cold water. They are purely mechanical and are not connected in any way with the thermoswitches or the thermosensor. The thermoswitches close if either is over heated...

cant find out the year of 90hp yamaha

The motor would have left Yamaha with a round decal on the block. Usually in the vicinity of the starter motor. Has some numbers on it. What are they? Look at the CDI assembly. What numbers/letters are on it?
