    You should not turn bar with your fingers to see marks, it's just push in and pull out It does not appear the tool is going into the coupler, otherwise there would be marks if not turned, or cleaned off if rotated while inserted A new bearing is real tight. Alignment tool needs to be moved...

    Serial number doesn't show TKS carb just regular carb (either 2 or 4bbl) and TBV ignition So many dealers (stealership) throw parts at a problem, charge for them and say it runs fine for us. They didn't listen to you and the problem, let's just throw some parts at it and call it good...

    Being 18 footer the 10lb should be enough to hold. It should also have at least 10 ft of chain, 15 is better. The chain keeps the the anchor digging in and a plow type would be best for soft mud or sand bottoms. Also need enough rode let out for at least 3 times the depth, and more as current...

    ^^Agree If that doesn't work, and don't know if it's a MPI or TBI but if you have a schrader valve to test fuel pressure, press in on it to let air out

    The interrupt switch is normally open and closes when shifting into neutral. It needs to send 12V when shifting to cause ignition to stumble. Don't connect it to ground

    ^^Agree but will add, Force like Chrysler (same motor) are still running today. If taken care of it will need next to no repairs other then maintenance items. Maintenance items can still be obtained

    Many have remove the bolt, even more have pulled the motor Haven't said what motor but if its a V6 or V8, remove drive 6 nuts, Two bolts in the rear, 2 nuts on motor mounts (1 on each side). Disconnect electrical, fuel lines and control cables, then lift it out

    Welcome If unable to remove things to gain access, then easiest way is to pull the motor, otherwise folks have used left hand twist drill bits. Issue with drilling is keeping it straight.

    If your on a hose then those temps are not that much of a concern If your in the water, then maybe Normally one side will be warmer then the other because just the way water flows.
