Also, use some very small zip- ties/ tie-wraps to secure ends of fuel line in place of those little clip rings that are prone to corrosion….another item, a small in- line chain saw type fuel filter will keep junk out of your carb…
Don’t recall the plug number, but run 50:1 mixture….drain/ check/ refill lower unit with 80-90 marine gear lube. One screw removes carb…super simple with a needle valve/main jet set up….
I’ve been running Tanaka 3.0 since 1983 on my canoe…they are dead simple motors to operate and repair if needed….IF you can find parts.
For $50 go ahead and buy it….it’ll most likely run for years.
