2006 225 4stroke runs poor until warmed up.

thermo to me means thermostat., (which open and closes to allow water flow) not sure what you are calling a thermo, that has switches or other things tied to them

2006 225 4stroke runs poor until warmed up.

common sense would say , are they in place, and test to see if they open and close as your service manual specs state

2013 Yamaha 250 SHO fuel issue

Yamaha 50TLRD revs and bogs revs and bogs...

Ok, I changed the CDI on my C40 to get the idle timing correct after working on the used motor I bought to fix it also

Yamaha 50TLRD revs and bogs revs and bogs...

did you check with a timing light to see if timing or spark was a problem before replacing the CDI? could be a bad connection into or out of the CDI was the problem, hard to tell unless testing things completely as manual calls out

    2001 t9.9 4 stroke

not sure what you call a breather pipe, but it sounds like you have to manually choke the carb to restrict air flow. this motor should be new enough to have an auto enrichment systen to help on cold starts until the motor warms up. I would think you have a problem with that system/passage being...

    Water issues

I have read of making oil due to fuel getting into the oil running at low RPM /trolling speeds for extended hours and the motor not running hot enough to cook it out, but I never heard of making oil with water condensation. I am sure corrosion can eat thru many places to let water into the oil...

    8hp 2 stroke manual settings

As race said clean the shaft and the flywheel fit surfaces well and do not apply lube to it, as that fit is suppose to do a lot of the holding. the key is to index the parts

    Questions about Yamaha

best and easy way is to pull the kill switch lanyard to stop spark while doing the compression testing. it grounds out the spark voltage so it cannot build up and jump in places it could do harm like inside the coils or other places

    2012 25 HP 4 stroke, No spark

not sure I have heard of this phrase before", but it wouldn't go off the hop" also" assuming I have the kill switch pulled" to me means you pulled the kill switch lanyard off, and that would kill the spark to the plugs if you really want to know in electricity is flowing to the plugs, shove...

2004 Yamaha 200 HPDI no neutral switch in morse control box how to bypass switch

so you wanted a diagram for a switch that is not on a motor or the controls so why come here to ask about it. rig the boat properly with the correct controls

2004 Yamaha 200 HPDI no neutral switch in morse control box how to bypass switch

why would you bypass safety switches? fix it correctly, you controls should have a neutral switch. service manuals help a lot when working on motors you own, but not if the boat has controls that are not of the same make you could do a search for Yamaha wire color codes if you refuse to own...

Yamaha 50TLRD revs and bogs revs and bogs...

or just follow the testing procedures for the ignition system in the service manual for your motor testing the inputs and outputs of the CDI

Yamaha 50TLRD revs and bogs revs and bogs...

test the buzzer to make sure it functions as it should. if that works it should tell you low oil or overheat is not a possible problem if it does not buzz during the problem. timing light will show if spark is steady and if timing is advancing as it should when the problem shows up. have to...
