Hand caddy and rental boats, things like LEO/USCG/USACE come to mind.
Don't see a way out.
Suggest, figure a base cost and don't use a refill.
Boat A uses X Gal per hour.
Boat B uses Y Gal per hour.
Take an average and base it on time not Gal used. Don't get into the weeds.

Mercury Vesselview will show fuel usage/remaining but its just calculated from the boat/motor sensors. It knows how long the injector pulse width is and can guess on the amount of fuel used. It doesn't know if one injector is supplying more or less fuel then the other.
It's the age old thing of it has to run better on high octane fuel, because its high
High only means it burns slower, so if timing is set for low then use low because it burns faster
Always use what manufacture requires for best performance
If the senders are installed correctly (sender starboard, switch port) and your getting no reading using just the 2 leads, then sender is bad. Do rotate it all around to make sure.
The switch will show a connection (zero ohms) until it opens
Not getting a beep, check fuses on the motor.
There is also relays (small square boxes), have someone turn the key to ON and another feel the relays to see if they energize
Use a voltmeter and measure power at the main power relay or fuse to see if your getting power when key is turned ON

The Chappy 280 and 300 OSX helm seat will pivot and lock in either position. Can also get the boat with a fixed helm seat which is a few inches wider and a wet bat behind it. Mine is coming with the pivot seat, don't use the wet bar on my PC
Should not see 12V on both sides for pump to run. The ECM applies a ground to pin 86 when key is turned ON for a couple seconds to prime fuel rail. Once pump stops running 12V will be seen on both 85 and 85
Only reason in my pea brain that there would be moisture in an attic is there isn't enough ventilation, a leak or bath vent is not exhausting outside
As for basement, I'd use a dehumidifier
If there is "no" vibration when the motor is running and only vibration when in gear, then its most likely in the lower section or the prop. Start with the prop to see if it was installed correctly and is tight.
The bilge pump needs to be wired direct to the Bat so it will turn on with the float switch. Can also wire for manual operation like in pic. The alarm can be left off or most just wire a light in
It does seem to happen every once in a while. Wonder if it has something to do with gmail. The Formula forum just updated and now I'm not getting it from them. OSO started working but a week later it stopped again
The pump is not able to bring in enough water.
The VP Dudes will be along shortly but with pump being new and if the hoses are on correctly, then its the intake piece on the bell housing or the drive
