    Being that old it's not likely you can find the diagram unless Carver has it. Most likely you would just wire using the boating industry standards. Don't know if you have a Gen, but without one of those run house Bat wiring, into cabin and use buss bars then go to fuse/breaker panels

    The hydraulic trim has check valves inside which upon impact will open some and allow drive to lift. That said if the impact is hard enough its just going to break something.
