Can run a 4.3 Merc without the alternator belt?

I wouldn't do it Take the pump to the auto parts store and see if they have a fitting that will work

Can run a 4.3 Merc without the alternator belt?

Just for a very short time, anything longer as Chris said it can over heat If you want to run it with the PS, connect the in and out lines together. Fill with fluid and can run all day. No pressure will build, fluid just circulates

    Two guns FREE

Raffles are winners, won 2 guns in less then 6 months. Lottery hasn't worked, need to stick with raffles. Bought VFW tickets in Oct and won a Remington 870 express 20 ga with 28 inch barrel. Then bought tickets for local 2022 graduation class and won a Ruger American predator 6.5 Creedmoor...

Low Voltage 4.3 V6 Mercruiser Alpha

Battery should not drop below 10V measured at the battery terminals when cranking. A fully charged lead acid battery should be 12.7V If Bat checks out then you have corrosion issues

    Are we in trouble?

Ok then the other comments have you covered Normally a boat doesn't get many hours, so even a higher hour one will last as long as it will be used. The issue is if the motor was in good shape to begin with

    Advice please

That's a very good question for wake boaters. I don't have an answer and hope someone does. I would think fill and drain the bladders a couple times with extra chlorine

Maybe my turn for new boat time

The Cobalt dealer sent me the cost sheet, and I'm going to work thru it on the R8. Not sure with everything pump up so much anything will happen this year, but there is a slight chance, very slight. Prices to high and to top it off, won't get the boat until maybe this time next year
