    It be gone. No stuck broken off piece in the top and nothing in the bowl. Someone removed it and that ain't easy. Funny though, the emulsion tube and inside of it is intact. How does one do that?? Seems impossible!!!

    Not enough to matter I would think....also, you would have to get the pull start mechanism stuff ...right? Maybe you could trade it to someone who has a 9.9 with out the starter.

    Box should beep once when you turn the key to tell you the alarm is working. Model number will be on the starboard tilt bracket. Should start off J40 and then some more letters.

    Yes, but it would only idle for 2 three seconds unless I primed or held my hand in front of the carb. Classic dirty carb or so I thought.
