    Fuel line connection

F_R was referring to an OMC tank which you don't have, so unfixable. Looking closer at your fuel line end piece, it looks deformed. Might replace that. What I don't understand is you state that it is "pushing air into the tank". If it's pushing air than the check valve has failed in the primer...

1985 evinrude 30 hp prop power issue

Not sure you can eliminate the primer for sure but here is what I know. Primer gets it's fuel from the carb bowl and then sends it to the intake. Logic says to plug the hose that comes from the carb, and then cap the nipple that leads to the intake.

Outboard will only start when given 10%-30% throttle. Will not start when given full throttle or half throttle.

Wait a minute, Cros said leaking crankcase, and you tightened the head bolts??? This is weird.

1985 evinrude 30 hp prop power issue

Race says "check the reed valves" and he's forgot more than I know so I wouldn't disc count it. Listening to it, almost sounds like it's running on one cylinder but not sure that would get you on a plane. I've never had a reed valve go out so I don't know the symptoms. Here is the explanation...

1997 Johnson 40 oil injected isn't getting fuel

Yes I've used it very sparingly myself so understood. Let's see compression numbers and then report. There is good people on here so expect good advice. Funny, I've seen people rebuild vro's on YouTube but I haven't seen a parts kit....only complete pumps.

1985 evinrude 30 hp prop power issue

Ok, just reviewed everything again. ..you've had many things go wrong. (Prop, shift linkage, low rpm's) did you ever do a compression test? Didn't see one and I'm pretty sure you have over rev'd it many times. Also, I read you cleaned the carb....but no rebuild? Looks like the gas is not...

1997 Johnson 40 oil injected isn't getting fuel

Most on this forum are going to want to see compression numbers....they also will say no starting fluid, just 50 to 1 oil gas in a spray bottle. The normal way to check fuel pump failure is to pump the fuel ball while trying to start. Not sure the vro works that way. Usually dirty carbs is the...

    Suzuki DT85 8501 9219(8)0 or 8501 9219(6)0 looking for year please

I think it's a 6....not sure it matters though. It looks like an 1989 to me but I wouldn't swear to it. What did you come up with?

Outboard will only start when given 10%-30% throttle. Will not start when given full throttle or half throttle.

How did you diagnose?? Or did you just change your crank seals and test.

84 Evinrude bogging full throttle surge

A little more info, you say 1984 30hp Evinrude (25 cap) is there a model number on the clamp? You say choke plate has been removed. That should have a manual primer system....is it there? Your problem could be there. Here is a description of the alignment ring and the most common things that go...

    Yamaha 90TRL propeller issue

I think you can save the nut by using a drill bit to cut the old rusty pin.

    Yamaha 90TRL propeller issue

Tough one. The only thing I can think of, is to cut or shear off each end so you can get the nut off, remove the prop and then have the clearance to drill it out.

84 Evinrude bogging full throttle surge

Just re-read all of your posts. You've done everything really...only thing I can think of is you haven't looked at the reed valves, or maybe you have. Frustrating I'm sure.
